Located on one of Keswick's quiet residential streets, Sunnyside is just a short walk from the wonderful shops, cafe's, restaurants and pubs on offer in Keswick and close to the shores of Derwentwater and The Theatre by The Lake.
Parking in Keswick can be difficult, especially during the busy summer season. Although we cannot guarantee a parking space, Sunnyside does have its own car park, located at the front of the house and an Electric vehicle charging point.
Sunnyside is a beautiful building, retaining many original features and is a former Victorian Gentleman's residence built around 1866. It has been extended and upgraded over time to provide seven stylish, comfortable en-suite guest rooms.
Our spacious guest lounge with free filter coffee and a selection of teas is a great place to relax before or after your days activities and you're welcome to use it throughout the day, especially useful on wet days, rest days or even work days.
We offer a high quality, substantial and varied breakfast using local produce and we’ll always try and cater for your dietary needs. We hold a level 5, (the highest level) Food Hygiene Rating and both Paul and Nicky have a level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Life can continue whilst you stay at Sunnyside Guest House, we have good mobile reception and provide free wi-fi in every room together with flat screen TV's . We are close to local amenities and the post office.
Sunnyside are able to provide a small range of evening meals to our guests. These include delicious cottage pies, fish pies, beef or vegetable lasagne, beef or veggie mince chilli con carne as well as a range of handmade Pizzas. Please note, evening meals need to be ordered in advance and are available between 5pm - 7pm
Sunnyside is fully licensed to serve alcohol and has available a selection of premium beers, wines and spirits.
